Data Engineer
Turn raw data into the decisions that power 250M+ downloads
Eloelo Group is one of India's fastest-growing consumer tech companies, running multiple content apps at massive scale — 250M+ downloads and counting, with multiple apps in India's Top 10. Every swipe, every session, every recommendation is backed by data — and we're looking for a Data Engineer to build the pipelines and systems that make that data actually usable.
If you like taking messy, high-volume data from every corner of the product and turning it into something Product, Analytics, and Engineering can actually act on — this is your kind of problem.
What You'll Actually Do
- Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines and data workflows that scale with the product.
- Manage and organize structured and unstructured data flowing in from multiple sources.
- Support the creation of data models, dashboards, and reporting tools that drive real decisions.
- Partner closely with Product, Analytics, and Engineering to turn raw data into actionable insight.
- Own data integrity, quality, and security across the entire data lifecycle.
- Automate manual data processes and continuously improve the scalability of existing systems.
What You Bring
- 2–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong skills in Python, SQL, and data modeling.
- Experience with ETL tools (Airflow, dbt, or similar) and at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Hands-on knowledge of Big Data technologies — Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, or equivalents.
- Familiarity with modern data warehouses like Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
Extra Brownie Points
- Experience in live streaming, gaming, or consumer tech products.
- Understanding of analytics, A/B testing, or ML data pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving instincts and a collaborative, get-it-done mindset.
Why Join Eloelo
- Work at the intersection of data, creativity, and social entertainment.
- Be part of a high-energy, fast-scaling startup solving problems at real Indian scale.
- Enjoy flexibility, ownership, and genuine growth opportunities.
If you want your pipelines to power decisions for millions of users, not just sit in a dashboard nobody opens — let's talk.
