Role Overview
We are looking for a Web Developer with strong fundamentals in modern frontend technologies to help design, build, and maintain Eloelo’s web applications. You’ll work closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver smooth, responsive, and high-performance web experiences.
What You Will Do
Design, build, and maintain responsive web applications
Develop user-facing features using React.js and Next.js
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize requirements and deliver solutions
Implement and maintain routing, API integrations, and basic security practices
Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices
Develop and execute testing routines to ensure quality and reliability
Identify issues through testing and user feedback and resolve them efficiently
Keep web applications up to date with the latest web technologies and standards
Contribute to content creation, updates, and performance improvements
What You Will Need
1–3 years of hands-on experience in web development
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or equivalent practical experience
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Hands-on experience with React.js and Next.js
Experience with routing, API integration, and basic web security concepts
Familiarity with modern frontend tooling and workflows
Ability to work well in a fast-paced startup environment
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to take ownership and work independently when needed
Good to Have
Experience with performance optimisation and SEO
Familiarity with state management libraries
Exposure to testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, etc.)
Experience working with design systems or component libraries
